Get the family in on the act!

Getting your family members involved in helping to plan and plant your garden is a great way for them to try new foods. Start by letting them in on the planning stages. Give them guidance by picking out things that are easy to grow at first. Let them have their own space and guide them on planting the seeds. Explain the importance of watering and sunshine to help the plant grow. Once they help and see the beauty in what they have helped to create they are more apt to try new fruits and vegetables. Two of my granddaughters here are helping me in the strawberry patch!
